INGREDIENTS
- 2 tbsp. vegetable oil or bacon grease
- 2 tbsp. flour
- 3 lb. stew beef
- 5 potatoes
- 5 carrots
- 1 onion
- 4 slices bacon
- 5 c. water
INSTRUCTIONS
Fry bacon and use grease to brown stew beef. (Coat beef in flour before frying.) Chop potatoes, carrots, and onion. Add to browned stew beef. Add water and crumbled bacon. Bring to boil. Then reduce heat and let simmer in pot on low heat until meat and vegetables are done. The beef stew recipe is ready to serve...enjoy the meal !
